Dat Goes to Work

Me and dat had a chat this morning.

I said, “daddy, why are you going to work?”

Dat said, “because it’s Monday.”

…. I forgot what day it was.

So I said to him, “To make money for us to go to Disney World?”

Then he got a funny looked and laughed, and said, “I guess so.”

Then he told mommy and she laughed too.

I don’t get it….what was so funny?
Big people are strange.
